We took the new puppy down to Iowa for an annual pig roast at the farm of a friend and former employee of Mr. Sweetie. During the two days we were gone, Bermondsey managed to chew through both his harness AND his leash.
I think we just found out how he became a stray...

Murphy used to do that! He chewed through about 6 harnesses in the first couple of months we had him - then he got used to them and stopped. Then harness came to mean - "OUTSIDE!!!" which was all good.
Chewing is also a sign of stress and/or boredom - which Murphy also had.
