According to some internet lore (thus disclaiming any representation as to its truthiness), the cheeserie was on the verge of financial ruin and collapse, until the advent of Wallace's love for "Wensleeedale, Grommit!" ignited interest in the item and rescued the world from authentic Wensleydale famine!
